Acton Summer Junior Tennis League

Is your child looking for competitive play during the summer months? The Sudbury Valley Junior Tennis League (SVJTL )is an exciting and competitive option.

What is it?
The SVJTL was formed in 1968 and has since been the most popular summer tennis league for juniors in the area.

Players between the ages of 10-16 compete against other clubs by fielding three singles players and two doubles teams (total of seven starters). At the end of the season, the two teams at the top of the division play in a final championship match.

What is the schedule?
There is a boys' practice on Mondays from 1:30-3:00PM and a girls practice on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:00PM. Matches are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 until about 3:30PM. All practices and home matches are held at MLTC West (102 Nonset Path, Acton). The season runs from the last week in June through the first week in August (six weeks).

Where are the away matches played?
One very big advantage about this league is that all of the clubs are relatively close. You can see the list of clubs in our division by clicking here.

What is the cost?
The program cost for the SVJTL is $385 for both practices and matches.
