The MLTC offers a women's indoor round robin at Teamworks
that promises to be competitive, yet more relaxed and enjoyable than the typical inter-club leagues in the
area.
Instead of playing on a squad comprised of multiple doubles teams that compete against squads from other clubs,
players play with a different partner and against different players each week.
The construction of this program has numerous benefits:
1. Shorter committment
The league has two sessions: October 27th through December 24th (8 weeks) and January 5th through April 10th
(13 weeks). Instead of having to commit for the entire winter, players can opt for the first, second or
for both sessions.
2. You play at the same place each week
No more driving out to distant or obscure locations for your matches and having the entire morning
committed.
3. Players know what time they are playing for each match in advance
Instead of not knowing your start time until days before, you will know your entire schedule for the duration
of the session before you even play your first match.
4. There are safeguards to ensure solid competition
Since players must first be approved in order to participate, it will promote consistent strength within
the divisions.
5. Instruction is optional
There are no mandatory practices that are tied to your matches. If you would like to take a clinic, you have
the option of doing so.
